Skye Morrison
Skye Morrison, Canadian Folklorist, Designer and Author with a lifelong interest in traditional crafts. She received her Ph.D. in Folklore from the University of Pennsylvania, her MA in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University and a Design Diploma from Sheridan College, where she was a Professor from 1978 - 2002. Passionate about kites, one of her kites is a postage stamp for Canada Post, 1999.  
A founding life member of the Textile Museum of Canada, and the Ontario Crafts Council, Skye consults with Lang Pioneer Village Museum in Peterborough County, Canada and AnanTaya / AKFD Storey in Jaipur and ADI in Pune. During Covid-19 she hosts' the Hastings Community Edible Peace Garden in her rural Ontario Village.
